Following his recent Grammy nomination for Best Reggae Album, Reggae icon Ziggy Marley has announced that he will release his fifth studio album on April 15. The album, titled Fly Rasta, was produced by Marley along with famed producer Dave Cooley, and will feature Marley’s siblings and longtime backing band, The Melody Makers. The title track has been released today on all streaming services with an accompanying video to help promote the pre-order of the album, which can be purchased exclusively through Marley’s website.

In addition to the forthcoming album, Marley has announced a string of scattered U.S. tour dates that will begin with a sold out show at San Diego’s Belly Up in February. In mid-April, the reggae artist will embark on a short European tour before he returns to the U.S. for a few festival appearances. More dates are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
