Rodrigo y Gabriel will release a new studio album, titled 9 Dead Alive, on April 29 via ATO Records. The new LPwill feature nine tracks, with each song celebrating the the life individuals that have died, but whose life and work still resonate in the 21st century. Going as far back as Eleanor of Acquitane (1122-1204) and recent as Viktor Frankl (1907-1997), the duo hoped that the record will strike a chord with anyone familiar with their passion for human rights, literature, history and philosophy. 9 Dead Alive will be Rodrigo y Gabriela’s first album of new material since 2009.
