He botched that Liz reed with TTB @ beacon. Got drunk on golf course instead of coming to soundcheck & you could tell. It was sad.

seriously, would you want this disaster showing up at the Beacon? If it does I hope it’s not when I’m there. Watch that clip and still tell me that Dickey is worth your time, I dare ya.

DJ “D” predicts that Dickey will be at the Beacon, a-freakin’ and a peakin’, a pickin’ and a grinnin’, and that this is the handoff Derek channeled last tear. However, Dickey will lay a little Georgia Justice on Gregg “C.I.” Allman by way of a Hells Angel worthy smackdown that’s been a comin’ for quite some time.

Gregg needs to make up with Dickey, life is short

Old DJ damage is not particularly bright I see.

Some of these posts disappoint me….Instead of the positive, you post negative. I hope Dickey plays with his band, ABB, during the Beacon run. I think the Bros hope so too. Enough with this & that, all members of this band, with us or departed, had issues that all had to deal with. Now at their age, their wake is long and wide. Who cares. I dig them all. Support a reunion at the Beacon. Dickey & Gregg need to close a the door and both of them are up to the task. ABB. Always number one!

Has anyone seen this special add on Beacon show listed anywhere else?

All Betts are off on a Dickey / ABB reunion. Then again, who the hell knows? I just wanted to use that pun.

dickey betts is playing 2 shows in the NYC area, newton NJ and Ridgefield CT march 7 and 8. definetly possible he makes an appearance at the beacon

dicky January 17, 2014, 11:28:43

Derek broke the glass with him this summer. It’s Gregg’s call though we all know that. It would be shameful if Betts wants to play Jessica and Elizabeth Reed on their 25th anniversary if Gregg screwed him.
