Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey to Be Honored with Craft Beer

Oklahoma’s Prairie Artisan Ales will celebrate 20 years of Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey with a special craft beer. The Jazz Millions Farmhouse India Pale Ale , which is set to hit shelves in April, will be distributed by Shelton Brothers.

The Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey got their start as eight-piece in Tulsa, OK in 1994. The group has since gone through a number of lineup changes, with the current quintet consisting of Biran Haas, Joshua Raymer, Chris Combs, Jeff Harhbarger and Mark Southerland.

JfJO hasn’t really been active in many years. One original member, went from 3 to 5 piece and Reed has been gone a decade. Might want to pick a more active bane unless you don’t care about selling the beer.

The reason they are honoring JFJO is because they are both native to the state of Oklahoma. Prairie makes some highly sought after beers in the craft scene so I don’t think they will have any issues selling this one.

Its a shame someone misinformed posted that JFJO hasn’t been ‘active’. They most certainly have been active, playing jazz clubs like Dazzle in Denver, CO. I’ll be enjoying some beer with my jazz millions.
