Phosphorescent to Perform at Tommy Brull Foundation Benefit
The Tommy Brull Foundation’s “Shine a Light Music Series” has announced that Phosphorescent’s Matt Huock will play a solo show at Cannon’s Blackthorn in Rockville Centre, NY on February 6. The show is slated as a memorial show for the late Tommy Brull, who died in an accident on Christmas Eve of 1999. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the concert will benefit the new Camp Anchor building, which aids children with special needs.
“One of Tommy’s passions was working with children with special needs, so we’ve made it our mission is to raise funds to help people with physical, mental, and emotional challenges.” stated Tommy’s brother, Martin Brull, who helps run the foundation. He added, “Tommy loved live music and would have loved Phosphorescent if he got the chance to hear Matt Huock’s beautiful songs.”
Doors to the event will open at 7pm and the show will start at 8pm. Tickets for the evening are now available for $20, though tickets plus additional donations are also being accepted through the site.
