The National have announced a series of North American tour dates. The indie rockers will now make their way to The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on March 25, where they will premiere their new film Mistaken for Strangers and play a full show. The National will then head to Toronto for a three-night run at Massey Hall before swinging through Grand Rapids on their way to a two-night stand at The Chicago Theatre. The band will then be joined by Warpaint for two-nights in Austin, TX, followed by a tour-closing show at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley, CA with Portugal. The Man.

In addition to the tour dates, The National have also announced a special Valentine’s Day cover contest. Starting today, the band is inviting fans to submit videos of themselves covering their song “I Need My Girl.” Different covers will be selected and premiered on the group’s website from February 1 through Valentine’s Day, when a winning video will be chosen by the band
