Aaron Freeman (Gene Ween) & Slash, Langhorne Slim & The Law and Tea Leaf Green are among the acts slated to appear on the Bob Dylan tribute album Bob Dylan In The 80s: Volume 1. I don’t see widespread panic on that track list oddly enough. But it did get me to click on the article.

I think there are 7 bonus songs that will not be on the album, but available as bonus digital downloads. I assume these artists will be on the bonus tracks: Widespread Panic, Spirit Family Reunion, The Low Anthem, Neal Casal, Jesse Elliott and Chastity Brown

Reggie Watts “covering” Brownsville Girl? That is something that I NEED to hear! He can’t just play it straight, can he? The guy is incapable of doing so.. Brain-boggled…

“Infidels” (1983) was a nice album from that era. Mark Knopfler produced it and plays guitar alongside Mick Taylor and Sly and Robbie.
