Little Feat’s Billy Payne and multi-instrumentalist David Bromberg performed with The Midnight Ramble Band at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY last night. Payne joined the group for their entire show, while Bromberg sat in for takes on his own “Tongue,” Blind Willie Johnson’s “Nobody’s Fault But Mine,” Dinah Washington’s “Nobody Knows The Way I Feel This Mornin’,” and David Wiffen’s “Drivin’ Wheel” and more.

The rest of the show mostly consisted of tunes from The Band repertoire, including “The Shape I’m In,” “The Weight,” “This Wheels on Fire” and “Caledonia Mission,” along with covers of Little Feat’s “Dixie Chicken,” “Rooster Rag” and “Oh Atlanta,” Bruce Springsteen’s “Atlantic City” and Chuck Willis’ “It’s Too Late (She’s Gone),” among other tunes.

The Midnight Ramble Band were also joined by Payne for most of their Friday night performance as well.
