moe. guitarist Chuck Garvey and Capitol Theatre owner (and Jambands.com / Relix publisher) Peter Shapiro will appear on Tales from the Golden Road on Sirius XM’s Grateful Dead Channel tomorrow at 5pm. The pair will be dropping by to discuss the upcoming Wetlands Preserve 25th anniversary shows at The Capitol Theatre, which will be headlined by moe.

In addition to reminiscing about the days when bands like Phish, Blues Traveler, The Disco Biscuits and Dave Matthews Band performed at the iconic New York City venue, Tales from the Golden Road hosts Gary Lambert and Davis Gans will also be playing some Grateful Dead-friendly recordings from through Wetlands history.

As previously reported, moe will be joined by a number of special guests for their two-night Wetlands 25th anniversary celebration at The Capitol Theatre on February 7 and 8, including Jimmy Herring’s new project, The Ringers, Scott Murawski (Max Creek) and Reid Genauer (Stangefolk, Assembly of Dust), John Medeski, Chris Barron (Spin Doctors), Aaron Maxwell (God Street Wine), the Conehead Buddha Horns, Dave Massucci (The Authority), Fuzz and Jen Durkin (Deep Banana Blackout).

We recently spoke with moe.‘s Rob Derhak about the upcoming gigs, some of his favorite Wetlands memories and more. You can check out that interview here.
