It looks like Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson and Merle Haggard’s joint performance at the recent 2014 Grammy Awards (which also featured Blake Shelton) was no fluke, as Billboard is reporting that the trio are currently working on an album.

Nelson, who formed The Highwaymen supergroup with Kristofferson, Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings in 1985 and collaborated with Haggard on the 1983 chart-topping cover of Townes Van Zandt’s “Pancho & Lefty,” told the publication that the group will release their new record “as soon as we get it together.”

Rumors that the trio would be hitting the studio together have circulated since 2010, when Nelson, Kristofferson and Haggard teamed up for a Haggard tribute at the Kennedy Center Honors. Haggard told Rolling Stone the time that the group was thinking about calling the album “The Musketeers,” though no tentative title has been confirmed.
