Craig Sorrells Joins Gov’t Mule in Columbia, SC

Craig Sorrells sat in with Gov’t Mule last night during their show at the Township Auditorium in Columbia, SC. The vocalist/trumpeter and South Carolina native—who has joined Mule in his home state on a few occassions—helped close out the first set with takes on Bob Dylan’s “All Along The Watchtower,” Bob Marley’s “Lively Up Yourself” (yesterday was the reggae icon’s birthday), “Larger Than Life” and “Soulshine.”

Sorrells returned during the second for “Devil Likes It Slow” and Bill Withers’ “Hope She’ll Be Happier.” He also helped wrap up the show with Timmy Shaw’s “Gonna Send You Back To Georgia.”

Gov’t Mule will continue their tour tonight with a show at SKY PAC in Bowling Green, KY.
