American Babies Announce Tour Dates, New EP

American Babies have added some more dates to their touring schedule and announced the release of a new EP. The Tom Hamilton-led band will kick off their 32-city outing this weekend when they open for Railroad Earth during both shows of their two-night run at Union Transfer in Philadelphia. The group will be joined by their new bassist Marc Friedman for the tour, which will feature a few gigs in support of TL3 (featuring members of Tea Leaf Green) and a performance at Terrapin Crossroads during Phil Lesh’s birthday celebration.

American Babies will release their new EP, Stark & Red, on April 1 via RPF. The seven-track collection will feature stripped down, acoustic versions of songs from previous releases.

No love for the Pacific Northwest, huh? Seattle and Portland are fairly large cities, you know.
