Guitarist David Crosby has postponed the final shows of his solo tour to undergo heart surgery. Crosby, 72, underwent a cardiac catheterization and angiogram after receiving routine tests last Friday. In a statement posted on Crosby’s website, he says that “the left anterior coronary artery was found to be 90% blocked, and two stents were placed to provide blood flow to his heart muscle.” Crosby is also living with diabetes, hepatitis C and has survived a liver transplant as well as severe additions to drugs and alcohol.

Crosby is expected to make a full recovery but will move his upcoming shows in San Francisco and West Hollywood to April. The Chicago shows at City Winery will be made up in July. Crosby still plans to return to the stage when Crosby, Stills and Nash kick off an American tour in Richmond on March 4.
