Black Rock Rocks: Roots of Creation, Pete Francis, Sophistafunk and More

The 9th annual Black Rock Rocks festival will take place at four different venues in Bridgeport, CT on March 1. The festival, which coincides with Mardi Gras, serves as a fundraiser for a variety of causes, including the American Red Cross, the Salvation Army, the Higher Ground Fund and more. This year’s proceeds will benefit K.E.Y.S. (Kids Empowered by Your Support), an organization that provides music lessons for underserved youth in Bridgeport.

Roots of Creation, Pete Francis of Dispatch, Sophistafunk, the Primate Fiasco and more will perform at the various venues—The Acoustic Cafe, Fire Engine Pizza, Tautog Tavern and B.R.Y.A.C. Each venue will also offer raffles, New Orleans-inspired food, T-shirts and other merchandise. A schedule for the event will be announced soon.

Tickets for Black Rock Rocks will provide access to all the venues.
