The Rolling Stones got some help from former guitarist Mick Taylor and the Al Khubairat Singers during the first show of their 14 On Fire Tour at the du Arena at Yas Island in Abu Dhabi last night. Taylor made his appearances on “Slipping Away,” “Midnight Rambler” and a show-closing “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction,” while the choral group joined in for an encore take on “You Can’t Always Get What You Want.”

Taylor, who played guitar with the Stone from 1969-1974, joined them for a few songs during of 2012 and 2013’s 50 and Counting shows, and the band has also made a tradition of bringing out local singers for “You Can’t Always Get What You Want.”

The Stones worked their way through plenty of other classics during last night’s show, including “Start Me Up,” “It’s Only Rock n Roll (But I Like It),” “Paint It Black,” “Jumpin’ Jack Flash,” “Sympathy for the Devil” and a “Gimme Shelter” that was played by request.

The Rolling Stones will continue their 14 On Fire Tour this Wednesday, February 26 at the Dome in Tokyo.
