Slash and Ween co-founder Aaron Freeman (formerly known as Gene Ween) have teamed up to cover Bob Dylan’s “Wiggle Wiggle” for the upcoming compilation album Bob Dylan in the 80’s: Volume One, even though the original Dylan tune was released on 1990’s Under the Red Sky. The cover finds the Guns n Roses guitarist—who also played on the original—soloing over Freeman’s indie-wah reconstruction of the eighties-style blues vamp.

This is the second track from the forthcoming compilation, after Built to Spill’s interpretation of “Jokerman,” to get an early release. As previously reported the album is due to be released on March 25 via ATO Records.
