Kinks guitarist Dave Davies will play the Barbican in London on April 11, marking his first show in the UK in nearly thirteen years. Tickets will go on sale this Friday, February 28 at 10 A.M. local time.

Davies founded The Kinks with brother Ray in London in 1964, releasing 25 studio albums in total, with the last coming in the form of 1993’s Phobia. The English rockers will celebrate their 50th anniversary this year with a new box set and a musical entitled Sunny Afternoon. There has been speculation for a while about whether or not the actual band will get together and play shows in honor of their anniversary. Ray Davies said in January that a Kinks reunion is “as close as its ever been to happening.”
