Mountain Jam has tapped The Allman Brothers Band as the headliners for this year’s festival occurring June 5-8 at Hunter Mountain in Hunter, NY. The Allman’s will join a lineup that includes Bob Weir & RatDog, Gov’t Mule, Pretty Lights, The Avett Brothers and more.

The Allman’s, who are celebrating their 45th anniversary this year, will perform their first two albums (_The Allman Brothers Band_ and Idlewild South) in their entirety. “We really aimed to bring the best of the last 9 years back for this year’s milestone and having The Allman Brothers on board feels extremely fitting,” Mountain Jam founder Gary Chetkof said in a statement. “The festival takes its name from one of the Allman Brothers’ most beloved songs and I don’t think there will be a dry eye at the conclusion of their set.”

Other additions to the Mountain Jam lineup include Robert Randolph & the Family Band, Copious Jones KJAMM, Ratboy Jr, Elijah and the Moon and The Dirty Gems.
