Primus will headline an extensive spring tour that will take the band up and down the east coast along with several dates in the Midwest. Kicking off with three nights at Brooklyn Bowl’s brand new Las Vegas, NV location, Claypool and company will head across the Midwest with shows in Kansas City (with Queens of the Stone Age) and Little Rock, AR before settling into a lengthy east coast run.

Notable shows along the way include a co-bill with Beats Antique in Portsmouth and Cleveland along with two shows with The Dean Ween Group in Big Flats, NY and Asbury Park, NJ. The tour will close on June 29 at The Fillmore in Silver Spring, MD. Tickets are available via the Primus website.

In other Les Claypool news, the bassist was recently joined by Marco Benevento during his Duo de Twang show in Woodstock, NY, lending his keyboard to a cover of Johnny Horton’s “Battle of New Orleans” and Claypool’s own “D’s Diner.” Watch a replay of “D’s Diner” above.
