Bruce Springsteen’s High Hopes documentary will air on April 4 on HBO and will chronicle the making of the rock icon’s eighteenth studio album. The 30-minute documentary will mark the reunion of Springsteen and filmmaker Thom Zimny, who also directed The Making of Darkness on the Edge of Town.

Bruce and the E Street Band will kick off their U.S. tour in April after wrapping up an Australian run that included Tom Morello joining the group for the whole leg and surprise sit-ins from the likes of Eddie Vedder. Bruce also dusted off some surprise covers, including AC/DC’s “Highway to Hell” and Lorde’s “Royals,” which you can watch over on Relix.com.
