Dave Matthews Band will participate in Record Store Day on April 19 with the release of the Live Trax Volume 4 vinyl, according to Wax Poetic. The release will be limited to 2,000 copies and will only be available at stores participating in RSD. For a full list of record stores in your area, visit the Record Store Day website.

The April 30, 1996 show at Richmond, VA’s Classic Ampitheater served as the first of the Crash tour, celebrating the release of the band’s second studio album and one of its most successful to date. Throughout the night, the band played eleven songs from the new record along with “old” cuts from their debut album Under the Table and Dreaming.

Some of the unique aspects of the show include the rare “Richmond Jam” that developed out of “Say Goodbye,” widely regarded as one of the most popular recordings ever put out by DMB. “Two Step” also opened for the first time since NYE ’94 and the band place “Ants Marching” in the middle of the show along with breaking out a four-song encore, opening with a Dave solo version of “Typical Situation.”
