The Lockn’ Festival has revealed that the Allman Brothers Band will be performing their classic 1971 live album At Fillmore East during their appearance at this year’s event. The announcement comes on the 43rd anniversary of the classic LPs recording at the legendary New York City rock club.

As previously reported, the 2014 Lockn’ Festival will also feature performances by Phil Lesh and Friends (two nights), Bob Weir and RatDog (two nights), The String Cheese Incident (two nights), Widespread Panic (two nights, including one with Steve Winwood sitting in), Willie Nelson, Grace Potter & The Nocturnals and Gary Clark Jr.—with many more to be added.

The Allman Brothers Band’s At Fillmore East performance will be similar to one of last year’s Further sets, which saw the band play the Grateful Dead’s album Workingman’s Dead in its entirety. That set also included a special appearance by Trey Anastasio, who sat in on “Casey Jones,” as well as a few other tunes that weren’t from Workingman’s Dead.

The 2014 Lockn’ Festival will take place September 4-7 at the Oak Ridge Farm in Arrington, VA. Tickets for the event are still on sale.
