Round Records will re-issue Garcia, Jerry Garcia’s 1972 solo debut, in conjunction with Record Store Day on April 19. The run will be limited to 1,500 copies and each 180-gram white vinyl will feature individually numbered foil-stamped packaging as well as an MP3 download card.

Garcia served as the guitarist’s highest charting solo release of his career, peaking at 35 on the Billboard 200. Garcia is joined by Grateful Dead drummer Bill Kreutzmann as well as lyricist Robert Hunter. Garcia provides most of the instrumentation himself, contributing guitar, bass, piano, organ, samples and vocals.
