Nigel Hall, June Yamagishi, Members of Headhunters & New Mastersounds to Play Jazz Fest Late Night

Fiyawerx Productions have teamed up with Equifunk for another Jazz Fest late night aboard the Creole Queen Riverboat. The Headhunters RiverJam will feature Mike Clark, Bill Summers and Donald Harrisons of the famed jazz-fusion group The Headhunters (best known for their work with Herbie Hancock in the 70s) along with Nigel Hall, Papa Grows Funk’s June Yamagishi and The New Mastersounds’ Eddie Roberts and Pete Shand. Quickie Mart will also be spinning on the top deck as the ship boards and sets sail.

The Headhunters RiverJam will set sail at 9pm on Friday, April 25 following Santana’s headlining set at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. In addition to this show, Fiywawerk has also scheduled two more late night parties on the Creole Queen Riverboat that are billed as Fiya Water I and Fiya Water II.

Tickets for the The Headhunters RiverJam are now on sale.
