The Heavy Pets have announced the second round of their spring tour, which will kick off next weekend with two nights at the legendary Fillmore in San Francisco in support of Galactic. The band will head back to the East Coast for an extended run that will include shows with Umphrey’s McGee, The Werks, Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, American Babies, Jimkata and more. They have also announced their first round of Summer Festival appearances including Camp Barefoot and Purple Hatters Ball.

The Heavy Pets’ forthcoming EP Rags and Aces is set for a late Spring release and the band is reportedly already back in the studio to work on their third EP this year, which is expected to drop mid-summer.
