James van der Bogert and Duane Trucks helped out on drums last night during the fifth show of the Allman Brothers Band’s 14-show run at the Beacon Theatre. van der Bogert made his appearance on “Blue Sky,” which followed the “Melissa” the opened the second set. Trucks then sat in during the “One Way Out” encore.
