KISS and Def Leppard will follow in the footsteps of Nine Inch Nails and Soundgarden this summer, as the two rock legends will team up for a 42-date summer tour. Both groups held a press conference today to announce the collaboration. The tour will kick off June 23 and will span over two months before wrapping up in Houston on August 31.

In related KISS news, the band will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame however will not perform due to a dispute over the lineup.
