Neil Young will perform two shows at the Chicago Theatre on April 21 and 22. These shows will follow Young’s previously scheduled gigs in Dallas on April 17 and 18. Tickets for the Chicago show are on sale March 22 at 11 A.M.

In other Neil Young news, the guitarist spoke to SPIN about his forthcoming project with Jack White, A Letter Home. Neil says the project was recorded in White’s 1940s-era Voice-o-Graph recording booth, which is essentially a phone booth built for an acoustic performance.

“It’s all acoustic with a harmonica inside a closed space, with one mic to vinyl,” Young explained. He also described the sound as “retro-tech” but maintained that the album will still have a high-resolution sound in the same vein as his new PONO Music system. There is no release date for the project yet.
