Recently disbanded R.E.M. will participate in this year’s Record Store Day on April 19 as the Athens rockers will release two MTV Unplugged performances for the first time.

R.E.M. are the only band to make two appearances on the famed television show, with the first coming in 1991 and the second occurring ten years later in 2001. Along with the full performances, fans will also get to hear numerous songs not aired on the original broadcast including “Fretless,” “World Leader Pretend” and “The One I Love” among others. A full list of participating record stores in your area can be found on the RSD website.

For other great MTV Unplugged episodes, check out a list of a few other notable performances over on Relix.com.
