Michael Lang—one of the the founder’s of the original Woodstock festival—has teamed up with Camp Bisco producer MCP Presents and media conglomerate SFX Entertainment to put on the Hudson River Project. The brand new festival will take place July 11-13 at Winston Farm in Saugerties, NY (the site of Woodstock ’94) and will feature over 85 musical acts from a variety of genres performing on four stages.

In addition to the more traditional stages, The Hudson Project will also feature an interactive performance area at the center of the site that will highlight local music acts and performance artists/troupes. There will also be an art village, a selection of local food, wine, craft beer and specialty cocktails, as well as a number of lodging options from camping to luxury accommodations.

More information on The Hudson Project, including lineup and ticketing information, will be revealed in the coming weeks. The festival will also announce transportation information, including details regarding shuttles that will be leaving from New York City, other major metropolitan areas and nearby train stations.

“I’m very excited to be bringing live music events back to the Winston Farms and the Saugerties & Woodstock area,” Lang says.  “It was always my intention to make a permanent venue at the farm after the ’94 festival and it’s finally coming to fruition.  THE HUDSON PROJECT will be a wonderful addition to the valley.

As previously reported, MCP Presents’ Camp Bisco recently announced that it would be taking hiatus for 2014, though the festival intends to return next year.
