Gregg Allman has confirmed a series of West Coast dates with his solo group. The Allman Brothers Band co-founder will kick off his West Coast run in Napa, CA on May 21 and make stops throughout California, Colorado and Oregon. (He will also swing back to Florida for a late-May show.) As previously reported, Allman will also perform in Australia in April as well as in New Orleans during JazzFest.

With The Allman Brothers Band winding down at the end of the year, Gregg Allman pledges to hit many of the cities and venues his longtime band never visited. His current solo band features
Scott Sharrard (guitar), Ben Stivers (keyboards), Booker T. & the M.G.‘s’ Steve Potts (drums), Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe/Warren Haynes Band’s Ron Johnson (bass) and The Allman Brothers Band’s Marc Quiñones as well as a full horn section.

The Allman Brothers Band’s Beacon Theatre run continues this evening. For more on Allman, please read our recent site interview.
