How about a little love for Humboldt County? Say, the week after Portland? Probably time to have that Moonstone guitar checked out at the shop in Arcata, ain’t it Gregg?

ABB did play two nights in Oakland 2009. 5/13/2009 in particular is just an amazing show that I highly recommend if you’ve never heard it. It went so well I’m just flabbergasted they never came back.

Gregg’s band is hot. Sorry to see Jerry Jemmott is not on this tour as bassist. One of my favs since BB King’s “Completely Well” . Also, Scott Sharrod blows Derek Trucks away on slide. Don’t miss this show.

Gregg is such an amazing artist. I saw you in Roseville in mid 90’s and in Sacramento when ever you were in the area. I also saw ABB when you opened the Capital Center in Maryland and a several more times in different cities since the early 70’s. You and the Allman Brothers Band have always been my favorite group ever since I had a favorite. Now my heart is heavy and nearly broken, since you’ll be retiring before I get a chance for one more show. Please come to Sacramento! Please Please Please. And thank you for the decades of wonderful music. They were a serious part of the good times and memories in my life, and a very big help during the bad times.

The Allman Bros. haven’t sounded this good since Duane was alive. It’s a shame that they don’t have a date for Vancouver, Canada. They Haven’t been here since 1990. I guess you never know !!
