Kofi Burbridge and Rob Barraco returned to fill in for Gregg Allman—who was once again out with bronchitis—during last night’s Allman Brothers Band show at the Beacon Theatre in New York City. The band were also joined by special guests Susan Tedeschi, Junior Mack, Jimmy Hall, Jay Collins and Jimmy Vivino during the concert, which was the tenth gig of the band’s fourteen night residency at the venue.

Hall was the first guest to sit in with the band when he took the stage with his harmonica for a show-opening “Done Somebody Wrong.” Collins came out on saxophone next for “Dusk til Dawn“before Hall returned for “Can’t Lose What You Never Had.” Tedeschi then joined ABB and Hall for “All My Friends,” while Hall stuck around for “She Caught the Katy” and Tedeschi came back to help close out the set with “Revival.”

The second set kicked off with Hall sitting in on “You Don’t Love Me” before the Allman Brothers welcomed Junior Mack to the stage for “Ain’t Wastin’ Time No More.” Tedeschi then made her way out a few songs later for “Feel So Bad,” before the set came to an end with a “Why Does Love Got To Be So Sad” that featured Tedeschi, Collins, Hall and Jimmy Vivino. The show then wrapped up as Collins, Hall, Vivino and Mack joined the band for “Southbound.”

The Allman Brothers Band will continue what will likely be their final run at the Beacon Theatre on Tuesday, March 25. The band posted a message on their Facebook page today that reads, “No guarantees but Gregg is improving and hopes to return to the stage for the last four Beacon shows.”
