Yes will hit the road for an extensive tour this summer. In an interesting move, the band will perform their 1971 album Fragile and their 1972 LP Close to the Edge in their entirety before playing an encore of greatest hits and new material at each show on the upcoming outing.

The Yes tour will kick off on July 8 in Boston, with a show at Radio City Music Hall in New York City scheduled for July 9. The band will then make their way to 33 other cities across the country over the course of the next two months.

The current incarnation of Yes features bassist Chris Squire, guitarist Steve Howe, drummer Alan White, keyboardist Geoff Down and singer Jon Davidson. Founding lead vocalist Jon Anderson last performed with the group in 2004.

As previously reported, Yes performed all of Close to the Edge at every show on last year’s tour of the same name. The band will also be releasing their new studio album, Heaven and Earth on July 8.
