Members of Fruition sat in with the Infamous Stringdusters last night at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City. Jay Cobb Anderson played harmonica and sang lead on a cover of Bill Monroe’s “Gotta Travel On,” while Kellen Asebroek and Mimi Naja contributed harmonies to the tune. The Stringdusters’ Andy Hall joined in on dobro for “Wanter” during Fruition’s opening set earlier in the night.

As previously reported, Fruition have been supporting the Infamous Stringdusters on the road for the past few weeks. The groups will stick together for the remainder of the Eastern leg of the the Stringdusters’ spring tour, which wraps up tomorrow night at the 9:30 club in Washington, DC. The current outing is in support of the band’s forthcoming album, Let It Grow. The LP is set to be released this Tuesday.
