Black Sabbath, Faith No More and Soundgarden to Play London Show

Black Sabbath will perform alongside Soundgarden, Faith No More and Motorhead as a part of the British Summer Festival on July 4 at London’s Hyde Park. While Black Sabbath, Soundgarden and Motorhead all have dates scheduled for 2014, this will be Faith No More’s first shows together since 2012, while their last record together dates back to 1997’s Album of the Year.

Along with this triple bill, the BSF will also boast the likes of Neil Young and Crazy Horse (July 12) along with The National and Tom Odell. The two headlining weekends are linked by a series of concerts throughout the greater London area.

Sharon didn’t want to pay Bill Ward, that’s why he’s not with them. Jazz drummers can play just fine until they’re dead.

Sharon did not want to pay Bill all the money he would otherwise stand to make since they would need a second drummer stand-by on tour which also costs money… thus, given that another drummer had to be paid regardless, it came out of Bill’s share which he was unwilling to accept… at that level, everything is about money, don’t fool yourself into believing it’s anything but money… No person wants to say, okay pay me less since I might not be able to handle the rigors of a tour and no business manager is going to give you your full share if it’s believed you are not able to carry your weight… plus, given that Tony holds the rights to Black Sabbath, I doubt Sharon had total control of what went on…
