Jim James joined The War on Drugs on stage last night at the Wonder Ballroom in Portland, OR. The My Morning Jacket made his appearance at the beginning of the first encore for a cover of John Lennon’s “Mind Games,” a song that the band has been incorporating into their sets for much of their current tour. James told the crowd that he was in town working on a new album with MMJ.

As previously reported, The War on Drugs are currently on the road in support of their critically acclaimed album Lost in the Dream. You can check out a review of the LP here, and Relix Spotlight article on the group from 2012 can be read here.
