The Flaming Lips’ companion album to Pink Floyd’s epic Dark Side of the Moon is now available to stream below. The band notes in a press release that Flaming Side of the Moon is meant to be played simultaneously with its Dark Side counterpart.

Additionally, The Flaming Lips’ version was also carefully crafted to sync up perfectly with The Wizard of Oz much like Floyd’s album is rumored to do. The project is also available in a digital version as well and 100 vinyl copies will be pressed for distribution to friends and family of the band.

Along with the Pink Floyd companion record, it seems as if The Lips are in the process of making a cover album of The Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band alongside Miley Cyrus, Tame Impala, MGMT and more.
