Former Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan will reunite with the band following current bassist Tommy Stinson’s departure to rejoin the recently reunited Replacements. Duff will rejoin the band for five shows in South America beginning April 6 in Buenos Aires and lasting through the remainder of their South American tour. Stinson will return May 13 when the band returns to the States to play in Bethlehem, PA.

McKagan, who was a part of GNR from 1985-1993, joined the band for three songs back in 2010 at London’s O2 Arena as well as again in December 2010 when his band Loaded opened two GNR shows. McKagan also played with the group during their 2012 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame which frontman Axl Rose famously skipped.
