John Garcia, the former frontman for stoner-rockers Kyuss and current singer of Vista Chino, has announced the release of his first ever solo record. Garcia has enlisted some help with the album, most notably from Robby Krieger, guitarist and founding member of The Doors. The album was also the first to be recorded at Krieger’s new Los Angeles studio Horse Latitudes. The yet-to-be-titled album will be released at the end of July on Napalm Records.

“To have Robby Krieger from The Doors play on my first ever solo record was surreal,” Garcia said in a press release. “I am honored and humbled by his professionalism and talent and will never forget that experience for the rest of my life.”
