Prince is moving his music publishing from Epic Records, where he released his last single “FALLINLOVE2NITE,” to his newly created NPG Music Publishing, marking the first time Prince’s music has been independently controlled and administered in over twenty years.

According to the release, Prince will oversee his music along with the help of “some of the best talent in the industry.” NPG Music Publishing was founded by Artists for Artists and reportedly secured placement for his new single on New Girl earlier this year, where Prince starred in a whole episode.

Currently, Prince is preparing for the release of his latest album Plectrum Electrum, however there is no release date as of yet. Prince recently took over The Arsenio Hall Show and debuted his new single FUNKNROLL.
