Lockn’ Adds Preservation Hall Jazz Band

The Preservation Hall Jazz Band have been added to the lineup for the second annual Lockn’ Festival, which is set to take place September 4-7 at the Oak Ridge Farm in Arrington, VA. The legendary New Orleans jazz outfit join a lineup that already includes multiple performances by Phil Lesh and Friends, Bob Weir & RatDog, Widespread Panic (including a set with special guest Steve Winwood), The String Cheese Incident and Wilco, as well as single shows from The Allman Brothers Band, Willie Nelson, Grace Potter and The Nocturnals and Gary Clark Jr.

The Preservation Hall Jazz Band recently released That’s It!, their first album of original compositions. The record was produced by bandleader Ben Jaffe and My Morning Jacket frontman Jim James.

Tickets for the Lockn’ Festival are currently on sale, and more artists will be added to the lineup this week.

Tho I’m happy to hear this, the one band announcement every few says is annoying. It’s more than annoying. Whatever the word is for more than annoying, it’s that. U think they’re just slow to book or just slow to tell? Hype is also annoying.
