Miami City Commissioner Marc Sarnoff has compiled a “worst of
Ultra Music Festival” video in order to convince the community and the City Commission to get rid of the annual electronic music gathering. The popular event has received a substantial amount of backlash this year following a gatecrashing incident that left a security guard in critical condition and the unrelated death of another festivalgoer, who was found in his parked car near Ultra’s Bayfront Park location.

Sarnoff, who told CBS Miami that, “the money that Ultra is spending is nothing more than blood money,” hopes that the Miami City Commission will vote to ban the festival from its longtime home when it convenes tonight. Fans of the event are also fighting back against the proposed legislation, and a Change.org petition to “Keep Ultra Music Festival in Miami” has already garnered 30,000 signatures.
