Spanish Gold, the new trio that features My Morning Jacket drummer Patrick Hallahan, guitarist Adrian Quesada and guitarist Dante Scwebel, will embark on a lengthy North American tour beginning May 26 and Nashville and concluding in the hometown of My Morning Jacket at Louisville’ Forecastle Festival. The band’s debut album South of Nowhere is due out May 27 via BMG/Del Mar Records.

In addition to the tour, Spanish Gold will release their a special 7” on Record Store Day this April 19. The limited edition vinyl will feature the first single along with a cover of Ghetto Brothers’ hit “There Is Something In My Heart.”
