Made in America Festival Expands to Two Weekends

Jay Z’s Made in America Music Festival will expand to two weekends in 2014, with a Los Angeles location recently added in addition to the customary Philadelphia weekend. Both weekends will occur simultaneously over Labor Day Weekend August 30-31. Philadelphia will return to Ben Franklin Parkway while the Los Angeles event will be held at Grand Park.

Last year’s Made in America Festival featured the likes of Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age, Imagine Dragons, Phoenix and more. This year’s lineup has not yet been revealed but pre-sale tickets are on sale. Proceeds from both festivals will go to local chapters of the United Way.

How can it be expanding to 2 weekends if the events are being held simultaneously.? That’s 2 locations over the same weekend genius.
