Northside Festival Adds Beirut and The War on Drugs

Brooklyn’s Northside Festival will kick off its Northside Summer Concert series at 50 Kent two outdoor shows on June 13 and 14 from The War on Drugs (June 13) and Beirut (June 14) in their only Brooklyn summer performance of the year. Other additions to the lineup include Talib Kweli, Albert Hammond Jr., Dead Milkmen, The Barr Brothers, Benjamin Booker and more.

These additions join the previously announced lineup of CHVRCHES, Sharon Van Etten, Fuck Buttons, Titus Andronicus, Beach Fossils, Courtney Barnett and more. Tickets are available

BIG W.O.D. fan here. Great band. This venue holds 6,000. This will be undersold big time. I think they would have been better off if they did a co-headlining show with someone else. Portugal. The Man? $20 price is great but I’d gladly pay $40 for a co-headlining show.
