Ultra Music Festival is officially returning to Miami. After Miami city commissioners voted 4-1 in favor of keeping the music festival at Bayfront Park, Ultra confirmed yesterday that they will hold their annual event March 27-29.

Miami Mayor Tomas Regalado and city commissioner Marc Sarnoff spearheaded the campaign to end the festival in Miami after a 21-year-old was found dead in his car, a security guard was severely injured after being trampled and 76 festival-goers were arrested. After initial reports suggested Regalado and Sarnoff were softening their stance, they pushed forward with a vote.

An online petition to keep the festival in Miami garnered over 50,000 signatures.
