Warren Haynes, John Scofield, John Medeski and Joe Russo to Join Phil Lesh at Lockn’ Festival

Phil Lesh’s “friends” at Lockn’ Festival will include Warren Haynes, John Medeski, Joe Russo and John Scofield. Lesh & Friends will be flanked by previously announced acts The Allman Brothers Band, Bob Weir & RatDog, The String Cheese Incident, Widespread Panic, Steve Winwood, Umphrey’s McGee and more.

This weekend, the festival added Joe Russo’s Bustle in Your Hedgerow, Cabinet and Tedeschi Trucks Band. More artists are expected to be announced this week.

Lesh will employ the same lineup during his May 28 Central Park show scheduled for Rumsey Playfield. Tickets for that show are available here.

Was hoping for The Quintet, but I imagine I will have a grin on my face and a beer in hand during this show.

How is John Kadlesik left out of the entire Locken mix? Why to screw him over Peter Shapiro after what he did last year for you!! Throw more money at Phil..

The sad fact is that Phil and friends with warren, Jackie or Sco is just a better band. Compare the cap run last year to BAM or Vegas, apples and oranges

JK is actually playing with Keller in Grateful Gospel and I am sure he will sit in with these guys too.

I never heard anyone wish Warren Haynes was not apart of ANY line-up. That blows my mind.

Ugh, Warren Haynes??? He didn’t even sound good in the Barney on Ice tour Fall 97.

It amazes me that people can find so much to complain about. Great line-up. It’s going to be the fest of the year.
