The Mother Hips will release Chronicle Man, a new album of archived material, on July 15 via their own label. The record’s 11 tracks were culled from a rescued stack of 2-inch analog tapes that were recorded during the mid-1990s, when the band was putting out albums like Part Timer Goes Full and Shootout.

The Mother Hips will be hitting the road for a series of California and Colorado dates this May. The band have also added a few gigs for later in the summer, including a two-night run at Terrapin Crossroads.
