Michael Franti held a show at Bob Weir’s Sweetwater Music Hall to benefit his Do It For the Love Foundation and Music Heals International. Later in the show, Weir jumped on stage with the group for a cover of “Three Little Birds” as well as “Sitting in Limbo.”

Following the sit-in, the members of RatDog took the stage for a brief, impromptu set of “West L.A. Fadeaway,” “The Other One” and “Not Fade Away.” Steve Kimock and Jeff Chimenti were not at the show, so the band performed as a four-piece. Jason Crosby joined the band on fiddle as well.

The show also featured performances from Jason Crosby, who kicked off the night with ALO’s Dan Lebowitz as well as Reed Mathis and Ezra Lipp.

Grateful Dead members were busy last night it appears, as Bill Kreutzmann also sat in with Toubab Krewe in New Orleans for a cover of “Turn on Your Lovelight.”
