Conor Oberst will hit the road in support of his first solo album in five years, Upside Down Mountain due out May 20 via Nonesuch Records. Recently, Oberst added a West Coast leg to the end of his schedule which includes a May-July run through the East coast including festival appearances at Shaky Knees and Hangout Festival.

The new batch of dates kicks off September 14 in Salt Lake City, UT and runs through Texas, New Mexico, Idaho, Washington and Portland before ending in Los Angeles.

Dawes will open the run and will also serve as Oberst’s backing band throughout most of the tour. He will close the run with a show with John Prine at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.
